National Multicultural Conference and Summit:
“Advancing our Communities: The Role of Social Justice in Multicultural Psychology”
January 15–16, 2009 • New Orleans, LA

LSSThe National Multicultural Conference and Summit (NMCS) brings together psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to present and discuss research on multicultural psychology and diversity. The 2009 conference will examine: social justice, race and ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, physical disabilities, social class and age. This meeting is hosted by several Divisions of the American Psychological Association and is one of the most exciting conferences of 2009—expected to attract over 1,000 attendees.

This is one of the best meetings of the year
to reach an audience of influential psychologists— instrumental in selecting books for courses
and library acquisition.

Space is limited. Please fill out and fax your reservation form as soon as possible to reserve a space for your press.

ABOUT THE BOOK EXHIBIT

The Library of Social Science is organizing the publication exhibition for the conference. Located at the center of the meeting site, our exhibit offers conferees a unique opportunity to buy books from a comprehensive collection of titles from the major publishers. Our professional exhibit managers actively promote titles by distributing flyers and catalogs, discussing books with conferees, selling books on-site using publisher supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition.

Attendees seek professional literature and textbooks covering all areas of psychology. This is the best opportunity of the year to promote your titles on multicultural psychology, ethnic studies, women’s studies, gay and lesbian studies, and culturally specific aspects of counseling, psychology, social work, and teaching. Books addressing gender, sexuality, disability, family life, human development, prejudice, and discrimination are also on target. Space is limited. Please fill out and fax your reservation form now to hold a place for your press. Shipping information will follow.
