LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BOOK EXHIBITS

17th Annual ASIANetwork Conference:
“Asia Changing/Changing Asia”
March 13-15, 2009 • Lisle, Illinois

LSSASIANetwork is the primary organization devoted to strengthening the role of Asian Studies within liberal arts education. This exciting conference brings together scholars and educators from the fields of history, anthropology, sociology, religion, political science, philosophy and economics to participate in scholarly panels, roundtables, and teaching and poster sessions.

This year’s conference will examine Asia and cultural transformation in the contemporary world: how Asian societies are changing; and how Asia is changing us.

Asian Studies is a flourishing and growing field. This is the best opportunity of the year to promote your titles to a prime market of teachers and researchers seeking monographs and texts for research and course use on all aspects of Asian Studies, including history, literature, religion, politics, culture, language, philosophy, economics, women, media and human rights.

Space is limited. Please fill out and fax your reservation form as soon as possible to reserve a space for your press.

ABOUT THE BOOK EXHIBIT

The Library of Social Science is once again organizing the publication exhibition for the conference. Located at the center of the meeting site, our exhibit offers conferees a unique opportunity to buy books from a comprehensive collection of titles from the major publishers. Our professional exhibit managers actively promote titles by distributing flyers and catalogs, discussing books with attendees, selling books on-site using publisher supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition.
