LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BOOK EXHIBITS

65th Annual Meeting of the Philosophy of Education Society
March 20-23, 2009 • Montreal, Quebec

LSSThe philosophy of education is the study of the purpose, methods and ideals of education as a societal institution and more broadly as the process of human existential growth. The exciting annual meeting of the PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION SOCIETY brings together leading international scholars and researchers to discuss and debate education’s possibilities, problems and aspirations.

This is the best meeting of the year to promote your books and journals on education from a sociological, anthropological, psychological and religious perspective.

ABOUT THE BOOK EXHIBIT

The Library of Social Science book exhibit will once again be a featured component of the conference—located at the center of the meeting space near registration and coffee breaks. The exhibit will offer attendees a unique opportunity to buy books from a comprehensive collection of titles from the major publishers. Scholars will review the current literature in a setting conducive to thoughtful evaluation for research and course use.

Our professional exhibit managers actively promote titles by distributing flyers and catalogs, discussing books with conferees, selling books on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition. Attendees at this conference look for teaching and research materials on all aspects of education. Please fill out and fax your reservation as soon as possible. Shipping information will follow. Space is limited. Please fill in and fax your reservation now to hold a place for your press.
