LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BOOK EXHIBITS

8th Annual GLOBAL STUDIES ASSOCIATION Conference:
“Globalization & the Struggle for Peace & Human Rights”
May 8-10, 2009 • Boca Raton, FL

LSSGlobalization has been defined as the integration of markets, nation-states, and technologies that is enabling individuals, corporations and nation-states to reach around the world farther, faster, and cheaper than ever before. Understanding the vast transformations sweeping across our world demands new insights. The GLOBAL STUDIES ASSOCIATION (GSA) is dedicated to understanding the social, political and economic transformations that are impacting upon the world today. This exciting annual conference provides a forum for scholars to explore these transformations. This year’s conference will examine globalization vis-à-vis sociology, ethics, art, history, communication studies, management and business, media studies and economics.

Attendees at this conference look for teaching
and research materials on all aspects of international studies.

ABOUT THE BOOK EXHIBIT

The LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BOOK EXHIBIT will be a featured component of the GSA meeting. Our exhibit will be at the center of the meeting space—offering conferees a unique opportunity to buy books from a comprehensive collection of titles from the major publishers. Scholars will review books, catalogues and promotional literature in a setting conducive to thoughtful evaluation for research and classroom use.

Our professional exhibit managers actively promote titles by distributing flyers and catalogues, discussing books with conferees, selling books on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition. Please fill out and fax your reservation as soon as possible.
