November 24, 2009, marks the 150th anniversary of the publication of The Origin of Species. Celebrating Darwin’s achievement, prominent scholars from around the world will gather at this exciting conference to explore his work—and its implications—from biological, philosophical and historical perspectives. Hosted by The Institute for the History & Philosophy of Science & Technology at the University of Toronto’s Victoria College, the conference consists of multi-disciplinary symposia and sessions addressing the continuing debates over Darwin’s ideas.

The Library of Social Science’s book exhibit will be a featured attraction of the conference. Located at the heart of the meeting space, in Victoria College’s Alumni Hall Foyer, it will be near registration and breaks. Our exhibit offers participants—influential educators and researchers—the opportunity to select from a comprehensive collection of the latest and most significant books and journals. Attendees at this interdisciplinary meeting seek monographs for their own research and texts for classroom adoption.

Our professional exhibit managers actively promote your titles by distributing flyers and catalogs, discussing books with conferees, selling titles on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging instructors to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition. Attendees visit our exhibits repeatedly in the course of a meeting. Space is limited.

Once you have downloaded and printed out the reservation form, simply fill it out and fax it back to us at (413) 832-8145 to hold a place for your press.
