LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BOOK EXHIBITS

National Multicultural Conference & Summit (NMCS) 2011:
"Unification through Diversity: Bridging Psychological
Science & Practice in the Public Interest"
January 27-28, 2011 •  Seattle, WA

Book ExhibitEvery two years, the National Multicultural Conference and Summit (NMCS) brings together psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to present and discuss research on multicultural psychology and diversity. The 2011 conference will examine social justice, race and ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, physical disabilities, social class and age in order to promote the psychological well-being of historically marginalized groups. Hosted by several Divisions of the American Psychological Association, this is one of the most exciting conferences of 2011—expected to attract over 1,000 attendees.

This is one of the best meetings of the year to reach an audience of
influential psychologists—instrumental in selecting books for
courses and library acquisition.

ABOUT THE BOOK EXHIBIT

Library of Social Science’s book exhibit will once again be a central component of NMCS. Located at the center of the meeting space, our exhibit offers conferees a unique opportunity to buy books from a comprehensive collection of the latest and most significant titles on the full range of psychology and multi-cultural topics.

Our professional exhibit managers actively promote titles by distributing flyers and catalogs, discussing books with conferees, selling books on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition.
