LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BOOK EXHIBITS

5th Annual Meeting of the NorthEastern Evolutionary Psychology Society (NEEPS)
April 1-3, 2011 • SUNY Binghamton, Binghamton, NY
Book Exhibit

NEEPS, a sister organization of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society, is a leading professional association for scholars, scientists and researchers working at the frontiers of Evolutionary Psychology. This fast-growing, influential discipline constitutes a revolution in our understanding of human preferences, motives and reasoning procedures. NEEPS' annual conference examines the broad scope of the field: sexual selection, emotion, resource allocation, competition, skeletal morphology, literature, irony, abnormal psychology, evolutionary clinical psychology and the nature of the self. This is the most important US conference of 2011 on evolutionary approaches to psychology and anthropology (the 2011 HBES conference will be held in France).

This is the best opportunity of the year to promote your titles to a prime market of scholars and teachers seeking monographs and texts for research and course use on all aspects of evolutionary psychology—from neurobiology, genetics and biochemistry to religion, sociology and literature.

The Annual Meeting of the NorthEastern Evolutionary Psychology Society is
included in Library of Social Science’s Annual Subscription Plan,
which allows publishers to exhibit at any or all of our twenty-six 2011 book exhibits at a single fee. Most of our clients now work with us through the Annual Subscription Plan.

ABOUT THE BOOK EXHIBIT

Library of Social Science's book exhibit will once again be a featured component of the NEEPS meeting. Located at the center of the meeting site, our exhibit offers conferees a unique opportunity to buy books from a comprehensive collection of titles on evolution, psychology, mind and social behavior from the major publishers.

Our professional exhibit managers actively promote titles by distributing flyers and catalogs, discussing books with attendees, selling books on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition.
