Dear Colleague,
LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE is organizing a book exhibit for the 2015 conference of the Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa (ASMEA).
ASMEA promotes the highest standards of academic research and teaching in the fields of Middle Eastern Studies, African Studies and related disciplines. Their annual conference attracts prominent scholars and high-level policy-makers.
Among the topics discussed at this exciting, well-attended meeting: the history of religious and communal conflict and coexistence; how current strategic, political and economic concerns are reshaping old regional rivalries; and issues related to genocide, terrorism and democratization.
This year’s Keynote Speaker is Samir Khalil Samir, SJ (Saint Joseph University, Beirut).
Featured Speakers include Simon Mimouni (École pratique des hautes études, Paris), Holger Zellentin (University of Nottingham), Stephen Shoemaker (University of Oregon), Robert Hoyland (New York University) and Guillaume Dye (Free University of Brussels) .
This is the best conference of the year at which to promote your titles on Middle Eastern, African and Islamic studies.
