Dear Colleague,
LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE is organizing a book exhibit for the 2016 Spring Conference of the ASIANetwork.
ASIANetwork is the primary organization devoted to strengthening the role of Asian Studies within liberal arts education, encouraging the study of Asian languages, societies and cultures to deepen intercultural understanding.
Their 2016 conference examines Asia’s environments—its physical and natural systems, its social and cultural contexts, as well as its metaphysical and virtual worlds—and how the continent faces questions of sustainability, diversity, justice and global citizenship.
Given the increasingly prominent role Asian societies play today, this is the best opportunity of the year to promote your titles to a prime market of teachers and researchers seeking monographs and texts for research and course use on all aspects of Asian Studies, including history, anthropology, sociology, religion, politics and economics, literature, culture, media and human rights.
This year's Keynote Speakers are: Ian Miller (Harvard University), Sean Peoples (film producer at Think Out Loud Productions and multimedia producer at the Woodrow Wilson Center) and David Hastings (Eckerd College).

The Library of Social Science book exhibit will be located at the center of the meeting space, open to attendees throughout the meeting. Our professional exhibit managers will be on-site from the beginning of the conference to its end. We actively promote your titles by discussing books with conferees, distributing flyers and catalogs, selling books on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition.
