Attendees gather around the books at a Library of Social Science exhibit.
Dear Colleague,

LIBRARY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE is organizing a book exhibit for the 2016 meeting of the Jean Piaget Society (JPS).

Established in 1970, JPS is an international, interdisciplinary organization exploring the development and construction of human knowledge.

Their 2016 conference focuses on children’s interactions with their environments: how the environment influences development, and how children understand and impact their environments. Speakers will examine how environment and experience shape the brain—and how environments can be designed to promote education, conservation and a sustainable lifestyle.

This is the best opportunity of the year to promote your titles on human development, neuroscience, brain development and cognition, learning and education, disability, cultural analysis and epistemology.

This year's Plenary Speakers are Louise Chawla (University of Colorado), Robert Crosnoe (University of Texas), Peter Kahn, Jr. (University of Washington), Lynn Liben (Penn State University) and William Tate (Washington University in St. Louis).

Symposia Chairs are Ulrich Müller (University of Victoria), Roger Downs (Penn State University), Jodie Plumert (University of Iowa) and Megan Bang (University of Washington).

Space is limited. For details on exhibiting at the 2016 JPS meeting, please email Hugh Galford by clicking here.

Attendees at the JPS meeting seek titles on all aspects of Piaget’s thought and his influence in fields including:

• Language & communication
• Mind & culture
• Neuroscience & cognition
• Systems theory
• Cultural analysis
• Education & epistemology
• Social development
• Psychology & psychoanalysis
• Sociology
• Economics

The Library of Social Science book exhibit will be located at the center of the meeting space, near coffee and registration. The book exhibit will be open to attendees throughout the meeting, ensuring a steady flow of visitors.

Our professional exhibit managers will be on-site for the entire conference. We actively promote your titles by discussing books with conferees, distributing flyers and catalogs, selling books on-site using publisher-supplied order forms, and urging faculty to consider titles for course adoption and library acquisition.

Space is limited. For details on exhibiting at the 2016 JPS meeting, please email Hugh Galford by clicking here.
