A scholar of Hitler's ideology and the Final Solution

Richard A. Koenigsberg at the Holocaust ConferenceErnestine Schant-Bradley (wife of Bill Bradley, who was running for President at the time) attended my presentation (and spoke herself as well). That's me, continuing to lecture—after my lecture. To the left is conference organizer, Jack Fischel. In the center is my brother-in-law (from Germany), Harry Toteberg.

One might say that I'm a Holocaust Scholar.  However, I don't think of myself this way. Although I've presented keynote talks at several Holocaust conferences,  I don't lecture about the Jewish response to the Holocaust.

My research and writing, rather, revolves around the ideological templates that generated the Final Solution. My Hitler's Ideology: A Study in Psychoanalytic Sociology was called the "best critical analysis in English of Hitler’s thought."

My initial research was that of a Social Psychologist studying Hitler's language. I identified central metaphors within Hitler's writings and speeches.

I demonstrated how Hitler's actions followed as a logical consequence of his ideology, which provided the template for his behavior as a historical actor.

I'm now creating a new website for myself. If anyone would like to assist with the conceptualization, creation and design of this website, please send an email to RAK@LibraryofSocialScience.com

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Richard Koenigsberg
