Paranoia = an immune response: Fighting to destroy a "not self" idea that seems to be entering one's body. This idea is experienced as foreign to one's self and body. It's experienced as an attack upon one's own beliefs, the ideas the hold one's body together.
The Jew was the "parasite" inside the body of the German people. The Jewish idea was felt to be inside Hitler's body, thretening his life, draining away the meaning of Germany; draining his energy.

Going to war, performing the Holocaust, what a burden these tasks were for the German people. What a drag. Not much pleasure or fun at all. But acts of war and genocide were performed as an obligation: to keep the sacred object alive--outside the self, and inside the self. To preserve the dream of immortality.
The Jew was the dream of immortality experienced in its negative form: the obligation to spend one's life killing people, eventually dying, all in the name of one's beloved Germany. The hated Jew and Germany were two sides of the same coin. The German naton (parasitical upon the self) was projected into the Jewish parasite. The "Jew" consumed the dream, turned the glory of Nazism into a nightmare.
DEVOTION AND PARASITE MEAN THE SAME THING. Devotion to Germany is parasitical upon the self. Union with the omnipotent mother--even as she destroys us.
The Jew is the bad mother, the diseased mother, Hitler's mother with cancer. He tried to save her. He refused to acknowledge that she was dying: "That no one can, no one must, say to me." Hitler's mother's cancer became his own cancer (the "disease within the body of the people"). No matter how many Jewish cancer cells he killed, he could not rescue his mother.
Cancer and Germany were one: parasitic upon the body politic; consuming the nation and its people.
