No separation between one's own body and the flag-body. One's body becomes a body-politic. Love of country = Diseased attachment.

"Make Germany great again:" restore the lost sense of omnipotence. A rescue phantasy: the weak, abject, infantile self expands to become a gigantic, geographic space.

The "disease within the body of the people" is a psychosomatic disease. The nation inside the self. The love-object consumes the self: "parasite on the body of the people;" parasitic upon the self.
