Where things are now...is the result of the absence of a Freshman Anthropology Course discussing the concept of "cultural relativity." The ending (what is happening now) was contained in the beginning. We Americans have our fantasy of freedom. Moslems have their own fantasy (Islam was founded approximately 1389 years ago). The ending (what is happening now) was contained in the beginning. Each culture grows out of its own shared fantasy. As Howard Stein put it, "History has to happen in a certain way."
