METHODOLOGY FOR SELF-OBSERVATION: YOU ARE THE SEER AND THOUGHTS ARE THE OBJECTS.

You are the seer and thoughts will become the objects. When you silently look at a thought, thoughts will be the objects and you will be the looker. You will be the seer, the witness, and thoughts will be flowing before you. Separate your thoughts from the subject who observes the thoughts. They are you, but also not you. You are the one witnessing the thoughts. Then you can begin to discover the meaning of these thoughts: what they tell you about your self.
