Lenin was one of the earliest genocidal mass-murderers of the Twentieth Century. Many Russian scholars trace what is occurring now to Lenin. Stalin followed in Lenin's footsteps. The Final Solution (Hitler and Nazi Germany) began in June, 1941, more than twenty years after Lenin's project of mass-murder. And Lenin and Stalin's genocidal projects killed many, many more human beings than were killed in the Holocaust. Yet somehow, Lenin is viewed favorably by some scholars.
The fantasies of Lenin and Hitler were nearly identical (see directly below): a certain class of people was viewed as a parasite on the body of the nation or people that had to be cut out of the body of the people if the national organism was to survive. The metaphors used by Lenin and Hitler reveal the phantasies that generated mass-murder. Putin is enacting some phantasy right now..
I don't have the time to research this phantasy. However, if one of my readers takes the initiative and responsibility, I'll be happy to publish the findings here.

PS: Look for the metaphors and images, and this task probably will not be difficult. Like: "Ukraine must unite with the Russian motherland." Metaphors within political speech reveal the nature of the unconscious phantasies that are the source of what's happening now (baby--sorry, I can't resist).
