ERIC SHIRAEV ON POLITICAL PSYCHOLOGY
Click the link above for a video in which Eric defines and discusses the field.

Professor Eric Shiraev teaches a course in Political Psychology. This field, once obscure, is gradually becoming one of the most important disciplines in the world. The future of humanity depends on understanding why self-destructive processes and perhaps delusional ideas have come to dominate our political world.

Shiraev observes that Political Scientists study institutions. However, do these institutions run by themselves? Political policies originate in the minds of human beings.

Shiraev suggests that there must be the "mind of a transformer." What process converts the ideas and fantasies of individuals into ideologies and institutions?
