Koenigsberg's Lecture at California State University (excerpt)
(SCROLL DOWN FOR INFORMATION)
"We believe there must have been real reasons that caused the Holocaust to occur. It’s difficult to imagine such an enormous event arising out of nothing. Jews must have done something or posed a great threat to the German people.
"In 1933 there were 550,000 Jews out of a German population of sixty-six million, less than one percent of the population. Yet this tiny group assumed a role of gigantic proportions, imagined as a mortal threat to the existence of the German race.
"What was the nature of the threat Hitler believed Jews posed? What was the logic of the Holocaust. What the Nazis did was generated by a phantasy revolving around the idea that Germany was an enormous body suffering from a disease. Jews were pathogenic cells—the source of the nation’s disease."
