OBEDIENCE UNTO DEATH: The Bedrock.
For Hitler, warfare and the Holocaust were two sides of the same coin

Hitler waged war—not only to kill “enemies,” but also to sacrifice (kill) the German people. Soldiers had to be “obedience unto death:” the defining phrase or bedrock of Nazi ideology.

The Holocaust replicated this ideology: Jews were required to die just as German soldiers were required to die. They too were compelled to be OBEDIENT UNTO DEATH.

In Hitler's view, no one could be exempt. Everyone  had to die for Germany. War and genocide were two sides of the same coin: Obedience unto death. Dying for Germany.
