"The Holocaust: Bringing Jews Back into the Fold"
(Final Solution IV)

Hitler believed Jews were unique. Unlike other races, they were unable to bind to nation-state. This Jewish trait, Hitler believed, inability to bind to a nation-state, was genetically given; unalterable. Something in their genetic make-up prevented them from living and dying for a nation.

But Hitler believed that living and dying for a nation-state was the meaning or telos of human existence. Why should Jews be deprived of the meaning of human existence? By creating the Holocaust, Hitler brought Jews back into the fold. They too would partake of the meaning of human existence by dying for a nation-state.
